It is one sharp ride. It’s the kind of bicycle that makes your hands sweaty as you squeeze the brakes levers and run a trembling, happy finger along the length of the top tube. After a few lustful moments checking it over, you many even note it has the components to keep up with the super-light, super-stiff frame. For 2012, FOCUS shifted a few of the dimensions around and played with the geometry. The resultant design is a bit different, with a lower top tube that slopes to a more swept-back seat post. It comes with Shimano XTR, Crank Bros. wheelsets and a FOX Terralogic fork stock, but you can play with those details when you get yours. As always, the look is sleek, simple and quite racy.
