With all the build-up and excitement for Amstel Gold this morning, it was very easy to forget about the MTB World Cup’s second leg in Houffalize, Belgium. Luckily, kolo t.c. has both the Men’s and Women’s races in their entirety.
The wonderful folks at extreme.com do an absolutely marvelous job at getting the full races from World Cups up immediately after their air. They are so quick that the replays are available within seconds of the completion of the race. On a typical World Cup day, the Men’s race kicks off about 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Women’s, so there’s just enough time to sleep in and pop out of bed to watch the final lap of the Women’s race via replay before watching the Men’s start.
You can check out the Women’s replay here.
And the Men’s replay here.
While of course the entire race is simply amazing to watch, if you’re pressed for time, watch the first fifteen minutes or so of both races, jump ahead to the 45 minute mark, then stop in at intervals along the way. Both races split up quickly on one of the toughest World Cup courses of the series, and maybe the hardest ever seen by Yours Truly.
