The Cherry-Roubaix is the biggest cycling event in Traverse City short of the Iceman Cometh. It needs a lot of helpful folks to be a huge success.
Race organizers are looking for more volunteers to sign up for a variety of positions for all three days of racing. If you’ve got an extra few hours and want to be a part of the action, consider signing up as a course marshal, SAG wagon driver, lead car or help with set-up or tear down.
It will be worth your while. All volunteers get a rather sharp looking cap for their efforts, plus a chance to win a big screen television just in time to watch the Vuelta later this month. You’ll also get an intimate seat as the race unfolds in front of you. Plus, if you’re in the CAT 4 follow car, kolo t.c. can promise at least one high-five and wave as you pull past a dropped Yours Truly.
To sign up, click here and fill out your information. All of Traverse City and the state’s very best cyclist will thank you.
