If it wasn’t for the noble, necessary and heroic cause, it might just look like an excuse to ride from Boston to Key West. There’s a bit more to it than that.  Jonathan McLeod is taking the trip solo to raise money for those who may not get the help they need any other way.

He’s hoping to raise money to build a surgery room for kids in El Salvador, specifically those with congenital heart conditions. The kids and their families face incredible costs for the surgery and treatment, but the charity Gift of Life has already had great success.
