Marie Voss, Susan Vigland, Kasey Wierzba, Lauri Brockmiller, Laura Webb… Ladies’ Night at SOL might be harder than most real bike races. 

They’ll be gunning for the title of Queen of SOL this Thursday, and the quality of the field is nothing to sneeze at. Some of the best riders in the state will be on hand to go for a full year’s worth of bragging rights in the second-to-last WorldTour night of June. Lauri Brockmiller set the mark last week, making contact with the chase group and holding on for a solid finish on a night with some interesting dynamics. This week, there’s nothing to slow down anyone, and we expect to see some fast times after a few nights of rain.

John O’Hearn is looking comfortable on the WorldTour table, now 13 points clear of Cody Sovis. With the Tour Competition now looming large, the question of who can challenge in July is on the minds. Ryan Kennedy looks to be the best bet; the former Tour winner is a confirmed Grand Tour contender and with both the Sprint and Mountain classification wins at the Giro, he’s shown he’s dangerous enough to challenge across the board.

Junior and miniSOL are back as well, with a number of #YOUTHS looking to improve their times after one week under their belts. Norte impressed to kick off the season, fielding a dozen riders in total and flooding the woods in orange.

You can ride to the ride (it’s a thing) from the Norte Clubhouse at 5:45pm, with an adult (i.e. FAST!) group leaving when the Clubhouse closes at 6pm.
